Matching March Magamsewalong

March theme for  #magamsewalong is Matching March and I decided to sew a denim dress matching with a denim bag. And in the end, I decided to sew a zippered pouch to go with the bag.  To follow my yearly theme, I used fabric from stash and leftover cotton scrap from the previous garment. Also, I managed to reuse my husband's shirt that he doesn't use for the pouch lining.  So happy that I don't need to go out to the fabric shop in the middle of this difficult time. Well, we don't have any social activities since the beginning of February and hope this pandemic will pass soon.

Striped Shirt

I was planning to make this shirt since the day I bought the fabric last year and I'm glad that I finally made it. This shirt is my entry to Sew Your Wardrobe Basics , a challenge that I participated in Instagram hosted by Stefanie  @seaofteal   The February theme was "stripes" and it was a great opportunity to use my stripes fabric and sew the shirt that I planned for so long. I posted the  original plan  on my Instagram but I changed my mind and skip the embroidery as I don't have enough time at the moment. Maybe, I'll be doing the embroidery later.

Hand-knitted Eyelet Sweater

I started this sweater in May last year, it was very slow progress with a lot of errors. I unraveled the sweater three times but in the end, I'm happy with the final result. I posted the journey of making it on my  Instagram  , so I'm not going to show the photos again in the blog. The original plan was to knit a simple eyelet sweater, square bodice and drop shoulder but in the end, I changed my mind and knit a seamless bottom-up sweater with decorative eyelets. For the yarn I used Linie 152, Paloma, in orchid color and pattern was my own. I used 2.5 mm and 3 mm circular needles.

Ottobre Denim Pants

I finished the denim pants just before the end of the month, so glad! I was planning to make these pants to wear with my Vivian Top . Both pants and top are using Ottobre patterns, I like the fit and the sizing suits my figure. Well, I can say that I love Ottobre pattern as much as I love Burdastyle 😍 The outfit is my entry to three challenges on Instagram: #magamsewalong  hosted by  Sue  of Fadanista  ,   Helene  and  Suzy #sewyourwardrobebasics  hosted by  Stefanie - Seaofteal   and  #2020makenine

Ottobre Vivian Top

Hello, I made a new top based on Ottobre sewing pattern magazine and this is the first garment of 2020. I chose this pattern because it looked easy to sew and I will wear this top more in my daily life. For the fabric, I used knit cotton in red that I bought at the end of December and I still have leftover to make another garment.
