December and January Garments

Hello friends, I'm back after almost two months away from this blog. I hope all of you are safe and well. Today post is about the garments that I sewed and cowls that I knitted from December to January.  I had so much fun drafting my own basic t-shirt jersey block pattern in December, I followed the Youtube tutorial from  Bobbin And Drew . Feel free to check it out, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do.  After I had my basic sloper, I made a wearable muslin as shown below. I used leftover yellow jersey fabric and added different fabric for the neckline, sleeve and hem because I don't have enough yellow fabric.  The result was a little big for me, so I have to reduce both sides of the body and sleeves. Simplicity 1314 Slim Pants And Kimono Top

Hello fellow sewists, I was checking my last post here in the blog and realised that I didn't make update for more than one and half months. I was busy with a lot of things but still making stuff/garments and most of them I published in  my Instagram . As things are back to normal this month and kid is back to school, I have a little free time to write a post and reading your posts too 😍 My latest makes are kimono top and slim pants, both are my entry to  #magamsewalong  hosted by lovely  Sarah Liz . This outfit is my August garment, I'm late but better late than never 😊

Poncho Hoodie And Elastic Slim Pants

Hello, I finished my February garments on time but it takes a little bit longer to publish in the blog. I wanted to make this outfit for so long and glad I did it. The poncho hoodie is based on  BurdaStyle pattern 11/2016 -126B  size 36, I didn't make modification on the pattern except shorten the sleeves length 5 cm, shorten the hem line 5 cm and made the high low hem at the back not so deep - in this case I trimmed the back hemline again 3 cm. I used 1.5 cm seam allowances in all edges and sleeve and hem allowances as well.
