Velvet Ribbon

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I have been busy the whole weekend with my family. We did a short trip here in our place, enjoyed a sunny day and did some shopping too. So, only today I manage to write a post in my blog. But before I write more about the final update of my MMM'13, I'd love to show you the pictures of my beautiful place, And here are the final update of my MMM'13 . Day 27 On Monday 27th, I wore my Sheath Dress  based on Burdastyle pattern 03/2013. I made this dress to participated Julia Bobin Mad Men Dress Challenge 2 and finally I wore this dress on a special dinner date with husband:) Day 28 On Tuesday 28th, it was a very lazy, hot and humid day here in my place. I stayed at home the whole afternoon but only went out to the supermarket in the end of the day after my husband came back from work. I wore my self-drafted old dress that I made 3 years ago. And here is an update of my MMM'13: Day 20 On Monday 20th, I wore my new Color Block Dress , based on Burdastyle Sewing Vintage Modern Jamie Shift Dress. We went out for dinner here in our city. Day 21 On Tuesday 21st, I wore my old self-drafted pencil skirt in black color. I made this skirt more or less 4 years ago. It was very lazy Tuesday but I went out for lunch anyway. Day 22 On Wednesday 22nd, I wore my Madura Batik Dress . I didn't went out for lunch that day. I spent the whole morning sewing while my baby still sleeping. Then we went out for dinner at night. My husband took a photo of me at the corner of our house just before we left home. Day 23 On Thursday 23rd, I wore my self-drafted floral dress with small sleeve cap and ruffles at the neckline. As usual, sewing the whole morning and went out for lunch with my family. Day 14 On Tuesday 14th, I wore my  Red Dress . We went out for dinner after long busy day.   Day 15 On Wednesday 15th, I wore my Floral Dress . Based on Elizabeth Gathered-Waist Dress from Burdastyle Sewing Vintage Modern Book. We went out for lunch, it was a very hot and humid day here in my place.   Day 16 On Thursday 16th, I wore my  3/4 Pants  in brown color. Based on Burdastyle Ellen Pants. It's time for me to start documenting MMM'13, a challenge to wear self-stitched garments or anything handmade during the whole moth of May. Day 1 On Wednesday 1st, I wore My pink shorts . I, my husband and little Eduardo went out to the new garden here in our area and continue walked around in our small city, then we went for lunch at Chinese restaurant nearby. Day 2 On Thursday 2nd, I wore My Shift Dress . We went for lunch in our friend restaurant (O Santos Comida Portuguesa) here in our city. I took a picture in the main square near the place where we had lunch. Day 3 On Friday 3rd, I wore shop-made outfit but the bag is me-made. Same story as the day before, we went for lunch at O Santos Comida Portuguesa again. As the Friday theme is water, I decided to take a photo near the river on the way back home but unluckily the rain is coming on the time when we took a photo.
