DIY Patchwork Dress (Scrap Buster)

Hi there, I finally finished the patchwork dress that I was sewing slowly since April. I'm so relieved and happy with how the dress turned out. The dress has a simple style, round neckline with slit, short sleeves, knee length, zipper at the back and full body lining. Simple everyday dress but the happy colors made it special 😍 Back in April, I cut these square shape of fabric 13 cm x 13 cm and sew them together and overlocked the raw edges to avoid fraying. DIY Denim Pants

Hello, I was planning to make a basic outfit (long sleeve t-shirt and denim pants) in February and I managed to finish the long sleeve t-shirt on time. I posted the detail on my IG,  here is the link  in case you are interested to see it.  After waiting for almost one and a half months, I finally finished the denim pants. Too bad that the weather is getting hot, so I will wear them in cooler weather. Also, I used green cotton scrap for the pocket bags. The rest of the materials, zipper, snap fastener, fastener and threads were from my stash. ...

White Shirt and Hand Knitted Vest

I started to sew the white shirt last week, pattern modified from shirt dress - Fait main magazine May 2019 and I used cotton fabric that I bought from the local shop.  I started my hand knit vest in June. The pattern was self-drafted and the yarn was cotton in deep blue that I bought during our trip to Singapore two years ago. My plan was to wear the vest as it is with pants or a skirt for summer but as the winter is coming very soon, I decided to sew the white shirt to wear with it. About the shirt, this is my third version of the pattern, the first version  was in striped blue with a high low hem and  the second version  was in a gingham print with U-shape hemline.  For this white shirt, I used the same hemline as the second version, added two pockets, finished the sleeve placket with facing and ...
