Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃🎃🎃 I made this costume for dear son to attend a party at his school. So glad that he liked and wore it this morning complete with plastic sword that we bought in the local supermarket last day.

Little Dracula For Halloween 2016

Happy Halloween to all! I've been very quiet for a while, busy with a lot of things but so glad that I am still sewing 30 minutes - one hour a day and managed to finish some garments (a skirt, tunic and two dresses). I will be posting them in the next couple days :) For today, I'd love to show you a vest that I made for my son for his Halloween party :) Isn't he a very cute little Dracula?

Crochet Pumpkins

Hello, I made five pumpkins for Autumn and Halloween decoration. All of them were in different sizes and I really love the way they turned out :) Materials: Orange, yellow and brown wool yarns from stash, G-hook 4 mm, tapestry needle ( I used normal needle because I don't remember where I put mine) and polyester filling Pattern: I found this the pattern from Petals and Picot,  Little Pumpkin Crochet Pattern . I made the first pumpkin exactly like the original pattern, then the other four were a little bit bigger in different sizes. Process: The first thing I did was the magic ring followed by every rounds as instruction said. Except when I made it bigger I just added more round in between. I cut the yarn 60" longer for the tail and much longer for the bigger pumpkin. I stuffed the pumpkin with polyester stuffing and did the last round. Fasten the hole with needle. Then created the pumpkin shape using the needle by pull the tail in the center of pumpkin. Afte...

Mickey Mouse And Ghost For Halloween

Hello... I made two Halloween costumes! A Mickey Mouse for my son Eduardo and a ghost for my stepson Rafael :) Eduardo celebrated the Halloween with his teachers and classmates in his kindergarten school. In the morning they had parade around the school and then they had party in the afternoon in the classroom. I managed to come to join them in the afternoon party, it was so much fun :) Rafael attended the Halloween party in the friend house. And he said that he had a nice party as well :) Before I continue writing more about the detail of the costumes, here is the picture of "costume in progress" which I want to share earlier in the blog but I don't have time to do it.
