Simple Everyday Blouse
Hi there, I'm happy I finally finished this orange blouse I started in February. The blouse has a round neckline, long sleeves finished with elastic and for the button-down style, I used hook and eye closures instead of buttons. I hope the closures will not come out while wearing. And for my safety, I will wear an undershirt š For the pattern, I used Burdastyle 12/2019 size 38. The original blouse has ruffles at the plackets and neckline. I omitted the ruffles and drafted the neckline facings. But in the end, I had a little problem, the back side with the gathers was too bulky because of the thick fabric, so I had to remove the gathers and make the back flat. Here is my fabric (medium weight crepe blend in orange) after cutting, I sewed the darts, fused the plackets with fusible interfacing and folded them. DeleteAll such pretty little garments again- I like them all, all quite different moods. The dress length for the burda tie top looks lovely - the belt is a good idea or it would be a big tent. I am glad your little boy is better.
