DIY Sleeveless Shirt Dress
Hi there, I finished my sleeveless shirt dress, and I'm happy with the final result. The dress is comfy and perfect for summer. I will definitely wear it a lot. This summer, I'm focusing on building my capsule wardrobe, and I'm glad I managed to create three garments (a skirt, top, and sleeveless dress). I will continue sewing more garments to complete my plan. My progress will be slow, but I'm sure I will complete it before the end of the summer 😊 For the pattern, I used Faitmain shirt dress May 2019 size 38 and I used this pattern before to make two long-sleeved shirts. And this time, I omitted the sleeves and reduced the shoulder length by 2 cm. I used cotton fabric in blue and white gingham and I planned to add a pocket, but in the end, I gave up because it didn't look good. The sewing progress was slow as I have a lot of things to do. The only difficult part was sewing the collar. And in case you are interested in seeing ...
Very pretty.

DeleteKnitting is great for relaxing with at night. I do the same, but only manage about 4 rows! Still, slow but sure progress will always get a knitted garment complete - with patience! Your jumper is beautiful, and you must have been very accurate with your swatch, because the final result is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah Liz. Looking forward to see your finished garment :)
