Crochet Swimsuit Cover-up Dress

Image
Hi there, I hope you are well. I finally finished my crochet swimsuit cover-up dress that I started at the beginning of February. I enjoyed the slow process and was happy with how it turned out. I used 9 skeins of off-white cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook. For the pattern, I followed a YouTube tutorial from  Crochettoz . It's a clear and easy tutorial to follow, thank you so much 😍 Also, I shared my process of making this cover-up on my YouTube channel, click the video below if you want to see it. And please, subscribe to my channel if you like the video and want to see more in the future 😊😍 I took a few photos of the progress and the picture below shows the start of the cover-up dress. I did chain stitch until I reached 60'' and followed with double crochet stitch and then crocheted the patterns. I mostly crochet at night when I finish all the house chores and sometimes in the afternoon when I'm sitting on the sofa.  The cover

Hand Knit Bobble Hat

Hi,
I have been very enthusiastic with knitting lately and so glad I managed to finish my first bobble hat right on time when the weather is getting cold :)
I found a free pattern and tutorial from Mollie Makes - Bobble Hat and it was easy to follow. The original hat is lovely, it comes with smaller width 2x2 ribbing and continue with stockinette stitch.
As I am learning new stitches and eager to try, I added different type of stitches for the body that I found in Creative Knitting magazine autumn 2015.

Materials:
  • I used 150 yards of  Zarone - Filatura Di Crosa Italia - pure wool blend in shade 37.
  • Circular needle 7 mm - 40 cm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissor

Knitting process started from cast on 56 sts and join the round, continue with 2x2 ribbing, k2-p2 until the stitches measure 2.5".
After that, I did stockinette stitches 5 rounds, then added k1,p1 in one round and p1,k1 in another round.
Back again to stockinette stitches 5 rounds and follow the same manner until the hat measure 9" from the beginning.
Then shape the crown until my hat measure 10" from the beginning, cast off, tighten the end and sew the pom-pom as Mollie did :)

That's it! Easy to make and I finished my hat in two days :)

Happy crafting and stay warm!

Hana
